		<description>I must confess I was the one who painted the red. I remember Dad doing this painting and I really liked it, but then he put some kind of fixative that discolored it. Maybe the fixative was old or somehow not what he intended. At any rate the discoloration continued over the years and really dulled the whole work. I decided after much reflection that he would appreciate my effort to revive the painting to something approaching its original brilliance.</description>
